KL Marine Consultants Ltd have over 40 years experience within the seagoing marine industry and a shorebased environment, having experience in all positions of the engineering department up to Chief Engineer on a variety of vessel types such as General cargo, RoRo cargo, RoPax, Passenger Ships and smaller coastal and workboats.

10 years were spent as a Surveyor with the United Kingdom flag administration (Maritime and Coastguard Agency).

This large and varied role covered all aspects of  hull and machinery surveys, PSC inspections, CoC examinations, auditing, plan approval through to new construction including super yachts.

Over the last 11 years KL Marine Consultants have undertaken a large number of projects including Dry Dock support, structural repairs, underwater systems repair management to in-service projects dealing with regulatory compliance, ship management, upgrade projects and environmental compliance impact assessments.

With many years of experience combined with in-depth knowledge of the legislative requirements enable us to develop an understanding of individual requirements. 

Becoming intimately familiar with the work style and culture of one client, seeing what works and what doesn't and then applying the lessons learned to the challenges of another client provides both tangible results and effective partnerships.
